Fall Forum

This annual event features well-known regional and national assessment professionals whose expertise illuminates our understanding about various assessment issues. Breakout sessions following the keynote address allow for participation and active exploration of particular assessment topics. The Fall Forum provides a great opportunity for learning, networking, collaboration, and discussion.

Dialogues in the Disciplines

Designed to reach out to faculty, the "Dialogues in the Disciplines" offer the opportunity for a discourse on assessment in discipline-specific terms. This half-day workshop is held in the spring and focuses on assessment practices as they pertain to the various disciplines. Each track is led by a faculty member in the discipline who has hands-on experience with assessment and can speak with authority about defining learning goals, selecting methods, using findings, and avoiding pitfalls. Each lead presenter is paired with a partner from New England – a faculty member who has assessment experience and knowledge of our regional accrediting body’s expectations, the local policy environment, economic constraints, and other regional concerns.

Summer Institute

Designed for college and university leaders engaged in NEASC's self-study accreditation process, the Summer Institute provides a hands-on opportunity for administrators to strengthen assessment efforts on their campuses.

E-Bulletin

NEEAN maintains an electronic bulletin to allow for the dissemination of assessment information and ideas to members.

Referral Directory

NEEAN's evolving referral directory includes the names of members who can serve as consultants. The directory can be useful in linking facilitators with institutions seeking various types of assessment information and assistance.
